There is more to being a groom than just showing up at the wedding venue. Thankfully, your big day shouldn’t be too hard on you. Just remember these few tips, and you should have a great start to your new married life.
Don’t Forget to Eat
It may seem silly, but try to grab a good breakfast and lunch before you walk down the aisle. If you are the type to get a little angry when you’re hungry, have your best man keep snacks handy throughout the day. Either way, don’t forget to eat—even if it’s only a little bit—on this very busy day.
Don’t Forget a Haircut and Shave
The bride is getting her hair styled and her nails polished for your wedding day; you need to pamper yourself, as well. Make sure your hair is cut and your facial hair is shaved the way you and your fiancée prefer. If you want to throw in a manicure and pedicure—with or without polish, of course—then feel free to truly pamper yourself.
Don’t Forget Hydration
You don’t want to stand at the end of the aisle and pass out from dehydration, right? Make sure you and your groomsmen are drinking water throughout the day. This is important in daily life, but it is especially important on your big day.
Don’t Forget the Rings
Before heading to the wedding venue, make sure you or your best man have the ring, or rings, handy at all times. Keep them safe in your pocket until the moment comes to exchange rings with your soon-to-be wife.
Don’t Forget to Show Up
This should go without saying, but remember the correct time and place to show up. You should’ve been to the rehearsal the day before, so as long as you can get the time right, your wedding day can go off without a hitch.
